Turkey is a country connecting Asia to Europe well known with hospitality and rich culture. When you first met with a Turk you will be welcomed politely like you know that person before. The mentality of Turkish hospitality depends on the historical belief that every visitor is a guest of God. Whereever you come, whatever you believe this is same for everyone: You’re welcome.

As a licensed Tour Guide in Israel, I have high expectations when it comes to Guided Tours. I must say how impressed I was with City of Sultan Tours and one of its principals/guides, Eren. From beginning to end Eren was a true professional. I was picked up on-time (not easy, given Istanbul’s traffic) and the vehicle was very clean. Licensed guides in Turkey study for two or four years (Eren studied for four years) and it shows. His knowledge of history, religion and culture not just of Istanbul but all of Turkey was impressive. Being Jewish, Eren was able to talk about Jewish culture in Turkey, synagogues, etc… The ability to customize a tour based on your clients is in my opinion, the mark of an outstanding guide. Eren went out of his way to show us things that weren’t “part of the tour”. He was very honest about politics and history and despite being very proud of his heritage (I believe he has much to be proud of), Eren was very open about sensitive subjects as well as the current political situation. At the end of the tour, we were dropped at our respective hotels and I requested to be dropped at a Metro station which was not a problem at all they did happily. I highly recommend City of Sultan Tours and especially Eren as a tour guide.
My husband, son and I have recently done the tour of Cappadocia. The tour was organised by city of sultans. The tour was everything we expected and then some. I want to thank you for the accomodation arrangements. The courtyard cave inn was an amazing place and our host went out of his way to ensure we had the best time and made us feel like home. The tours and transfers were well managed. This is the second tour I have organised through your company the last being in October and am very happy with both. This tour topped all our expectations. Thank you.

Do I Really Need A Travel Agent?
If you are traveling to a country that you’ve never been before, you should need a travel agent. Most times planing a trip to abroad is not easy a you thing. You need someone to guide you: You will have tons of questions like where to go, what to eat, when to travel. You may mostly find these information on internet but when it comes to cultural differences you may not find exact information you need.
What does a travel agent do?
An experienced travel agent firstly knows which sites are better to visit. That helps to to save time and see the best valuable parts of the city. If you are not planing to stay for weeks you won’t want to waste your time looking best views or get lost in the city.
Your agent will offer you the best possible hotels to accommodate. In your country a 4-star hotel may be enough for you but in a foreign country maybe you should prefer a better hotel or every 4-star hotel is not located close to the city. I bet, you won’t want to take a taxi for lunch or dinner everyday…
Besides, what if you had a trouble while you are on vacation? A local person that you know will surely solve problems faster than any others. As CityOfSultans we care our guests and offer 7/24 COS travel agent to make you feel comfortable. You can either call and ask for a restaurant or best place to watch the Golden Horn or Bosphorus.

Apply E-Visa Before Arrival
For the moment, Turkish visa can be obtained on arrival (if you are eligible), from the Turkish missions or over the e-Visa Application system (if you are eligible). Please note that visa on arrival will no longer be available as of 10 April 2014.
e-Visa is valid for tourism and trade purposes only. All people planing a Turkey tour after April 10, 2014 must apply to e-Visa.
You can apply to e-Visa online: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/apply/
It’s really easy to get your e-Visa: Simply apply, make your payment and download your e-Visa. You must apply to e-Visa before your departure. If you are eligible for Turkish visa, you can make payment online and download your e-Visa. Please don’t forget to download your e-Visa.
CityOfSultans team would like to assist you. Please keep in touch.
What is e-Visa?
e-Visa is an endorsement that allows the bearer to enter Turkey. It replaces “sticker”- and “stamp-type” visas formerly issued at the border crossing. Applicants obtain their visa electronically after entering required information and making payment by credit card. After successful application, e-Visa is e-mailed to the applicant. Applicants must print out their e-Visa, show it to airport officials and customs officers and carry it with them at all times during the travel.
e-Visa is only valid for tourism or trade purposes. For other purposes such as work or study, an application through our Embassies or Consulates must be submitted. Turkish authorities can deny entrance of a holder of e-Visa to Turkey in certain cases. Holders of visas issued by Turkish embassies or consulates are subject to the same procedure too, thus can be denied entrance.
Turkey Tour
First of all Turkey tour is a good option to include into your travel plans. You need to know that Ankara is the capital of Turkey. You really need to go and visit Ataturk’s grave which is called Anitkabir. Ataturk is Turkey’s hero and he fought for his country. He made lots of revolutions and presented lots to Turks. Another city you need to know is Istanbul where the population is too much. The reason of the population is, people in east migrated years ago and they are still migrating. Because in east, they don’t have enough possibilities to work or study. Finding a job or studying is easy in Istanbul compared to east. If you think to make a Turkey tour, you really need to go south. In south of Turkey, you can have fun because of the sunny weather, sand and the sea.
You can stay in a hotel in Bodrum, and swim for days and days. Izmir is a nice city to feel the crowd and peace together. If you are planning to make a Turkey tour don’t go back before visiting Izmir. There are little villages in there which you can feel yourself in peace. You can eat fruits from trees and taste the wonderful fruits you ve ever eat. Up in North is a place all green. It’s called Karadeniz and its full of green. There is always rainy in there. People in Karadeniz are sometimes funny sometimes cunning. You can breathe the fresh air in there totally. Turkey is a good destination to travel. You can take photographs of Turkey, and tell about the tour you ve made. Have fun.
